Bayonne

Here is another little place that we visited whilst in Biarritz. The photo on the right is the doorway to Spain! (whilst looking for this on the map we almost missed it as it is now the entrance to a carpark!)

Alice's Birthday

I must say that Troy raised the stakes when he organised my Birthday. He hired a car and we drove all the way to Cornwall (about as far south east as you can get). We drove for the whole day and stayed at this amazing hotel. There was heaps of wind that night and we almost lost the doors to the hire car! But best of all Troy organised to take me to Jamie Oliver's Fifteen!!!!!!.

The food was amazing and I cant wait to go again. Unfortunately Jamie wasnt there, but the night was great (because Troy was!) - he made me say that as he is sitting right next to me! We have also added a few pics from Stonehenge, where we stopped on the way down.

Hi all,
Well this is the coolest place we have been in so far, it got to a top temp of 4 degrees. There was even snow on the beach !!!!.
FYI Biarritz is in the basque country of France/Spain just near the Pyrenees, that you will see in one of the photos we have uploaded (on this trip we managed to take about 100 photos in the 2 1/2 days we were there!)

Berlin

Here are some pics from out time in Berlin (where it was freezing but we later found out not as cold as Biarritz!).

Here we stayed at a lovely hotel (the Novotel) which Troy did well picking once again. We were moments from the markets and a few steps away from the tube station.
